Ran Zilca is the Chief Scientist of bLife Inc and CEO of Signal Patterns, a company he founded in 2006 that develops mobile and web applications delivering professional-grade psychology tools to the public. In his current position Ran has assembled a team of over 20 leading research psychologists worldwide and formed business partnerships with personal-growth and-self improvement authorities like Dr. Deepak Chopra, and Dr. Stephen Covey.

Before starting Signal Patterns Ran has worked in various R&D positions with the Israeli Defense Forces, Amdocs, and IBM Research, leading the development of innovative data mining, voice recognition, and statistical pattern recognition tools and algorithms.

Ran has published over 20 scientific publications and US patents.  He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a member of the Society for Personality and social Psychology. He holds a MS from Tel Aviv University and BS from Ben Gurion University, both in Electrical Engineering.

Ran lives in Westchester County, north of New York City with his wife and three children.
